Free NFL pick'em leagues
Run a free NFL pick'em league with friends, family or the office. Every member picks from the same real lines each week, picks are graded automatically, and the standings update as games finish. No entry fees and no money, ever.
What you can pick
Every regular-season game is on the board each week, from Thursday night to Monday night. Commissioners choose which pick types count:
- Spread — the favorite has to win by more than the number.
- Straight Up — just pick the winner.
- Total Points — over or under the combined score.
- Player Stats — over or under a player's passing, rushing or receiving yards, touchdowns, receptions, sacks, tackles, field goals and more.
Preseason games are available too, as their own sport, for groups that want to start in August.
Popular ways to set it up
- Classic spread pick'em. Five spread picks a week, best win percentage wins the season.
- Any type. Five picks a week from any pick type, so members can play to what they know.
- Mixed requirements. For example, two spread, two total points and one player stat each week.
- Survivor instead. One team a week, no repeats, last one standing. See the NFL survivor pool guide.
How an NFL week works
NFL-only leagues run on a Wednesday-to-Tuesday week, so Thursday, Sunday and Monday games all count toward the same week. Each pick locks at its game's kickoff, so you can make Sunday picks after watching Thursday night.
Standings
Standings sort by win percentage, with a push counting as half a win. Members can look through each other's pick history, and your Stats page breaks your record down by pick type and sport, with current streaks. The pick'em rules explain scoring, missed picks and tiebreakers in full.
Byes, holidays and schedule changes
- Bye weeks. Every team gets a week off during the season, so the slate shrinks from mid-season on. Teams on a bye simply aren't on the board that week, which matters most in a survivor pool.
- Thanksgiving and holiday games. Thanksgiving Thursday has three games, and late-season Saturdays and holidays add more. They all fall inside the same Wednesday-to-Tuesday week, so they count like any other game.
- Moved kickoffs. When the NFL moves a game, for example flexing it into prime time late in the season, the new kickoff time is picked up automatically and picks lock at the real start.
- The last week of the season. Teams that have already clinched sometimes rest their starters in Week 18, so a team that looked like a sure thing can field backups. It pays to check team news before picking.
- Postponed games. If a game is postponed and never played, picks on it are voided: they don't count as a win, loss or push.
Already partway through the season?
You don't need to wait until next September. Set the season dates to start this week and play the rest of the year, or allow late joining so friends can still come in.
